In this unit, pupils use singular -er and -ar verbs, including stem-change verb ‘jugar’ to play, for end of school year activities, summer days and music lessons. They extend cultural knowledge learning names of several typical musical instruments from Peru. Pupils practise new sounds, v, b, and h.

What I and others do: -AR and -ER singular verbs

Order the words to say: 'I read my favourite book with my friend'.

Write in Spanish: 'I swim in the swimming pool'.
