In this unit, pupils learn the grammar and spelling conventions associated with verb, adjective and noun suffixes.  In 'Noun suffixes, letter strings and homophones', pupils learn further noun suffixes, letter strings and homophones.

In ‘Suffixes, etymology and homphones’, pupils learnt how spelling can relate to the origin and meaning of words. In this unit, pupils learn the grammar and spelling conventions associated with verb, adjective and noun suffixes.
