Clockwise is the direction that the hands of an analogue clock travel.

Anti-clockwise is the opposite direction to which the hands of an analogue clock travel.

One complete turn all the way around. A full turn is the equivalent of turning through four right angles.

Half of one complete turn. A half turn is the equivalent of turning through two right angles.

A quarter/three-quarters of one complete turn. A quarter/three-quarter turn is the equivalent of turning through 1/3 right angles.
