In this unit pupils will consolidate their understanding of time by comparing and sequencing intervals of time. They will learn to write the time to 5 minutes, including quarter past/quarter to. In the future unit pupils will tell and write the time from an analogue clock, including using Roman numerals from I to XII, and 12-hour and 24-hour clocks. 

In the prior unit pupils sequenced events in chronological order and recognised and used language related to dates. They told the time to the hour and half past the hour, linked to fractions.
