I'll go first to show you how it's done.

Now we're ready to do some learning.

Today we're going to learn to review our understanding of pulse to understand the difference between a ta pulse and a ti-ti pulse.

To change the way pulse is shown.

To move our body to the pulse.

In this lesson you will need your body.

Give us a wave.

Your voice.

Say hello.

And the Teddy or toy.

Pause the video to go and get a Teddy or toy now.

If a big square is a ta and two little squares make a ti-ti, what does this pattern say? That's right.

Ta, ti-ti, ta, ta.

We're going to clap that back in today, but it's really important we have a pulse to clap it too.

So we're going to stop the pulse on our feet.

You can join in with me when you're ready.

Keep that nice and steady.

After four, we're going to stop patting the pattern.

Then we're going clap through four times.

One, two, three, four.

Ta, ti-ti, ta, ta.

Great job.

I wonder how we could use what we've learned about pulse today, to show that at the start of the song Susie's going really slowly, but by the end of the song she is whizzing by all those children.

Perhaps we could start with a daddy bear pulse.

And maybe halfway through the song we could swap to a ti-ti pulse.

A baby bear pulse, like this.

Ti-ti-ti-ti-ti-ti-ti-ti I'll show you what I mean.
