The last thing we're going to do today is we are going to listen to some music.
This music is by Henry Purcell and it's called Rondeau.
We're going to listen really, really carefully to what the beat is doing and we're going to see how many different ways we can move our body in time to the beat.
We might choose to pat our head, pat our nose, pat our shoulders, clap our hands, pat your lap.
There are so many different ways we can keep the beat and how many different ways you can do it.
Fantastic.
Well done you.
Let us check what we've learned today.
Have you learnt to hear the pulse? Have you learnt to move your body in time to the polls? Have you learnt to count how many beats a song has? And lastly, can you describe what a pulse is? I think you can do all those things now.
You've done a fantastic job today, well done.
I've really enjoyed working with you in this lesson.
I hope you've enjoyed it too.
I hope you come back next time so that we can learn more about pulse and beat.
Before you come back next time, maybe you can help somebody else in your house to understand what pulse and beat is.
And if you hear a song on the radio or on the TV or if you just feel like singing, maybe you can try clapping along with the pulse too.
I've had fun today, I hope you have too and I'll see you next time.
Goodbye.
