Hello and welcome students.

Once again it's Mr. Latif here and today's lesson is a bit different.

So today we will be revising the content that we have been learning over the course of the last few weeks.

So really just revising, revisiting and to reflect on what we've learned so far, and also to practise our understanding of the key terms and the key teachings and what they mean.

So let's get into our learning for today with our revision, but as always, there's five things that you will need.

You will definitely need your exercise book or some lined paper.

A black or blue pen, a different coloured pen for any corrections.

There's attentive ears and a curious brain.

So once you have those five things, let's get into our learning for today.

So welcome to our learning for today.

And just as a reminder, we'll be looking at the following to revise, to revisit, to reflect on what we've learnt so far and to practise and to understand the key teachings and the key terms and what they mean.

So just a reminder of those five things that you need.

Please ensure you have these five things on you.

If you don't have them, this is a great opportunity for you just to pause the video now.

But if not, let's continue with our learning today.

So you won't be seeing me that much today, 'cause there'll be a full screen of loads of different questions to kind of see how much you can remember to test your knowledge, to see how well you remember certain key beliefs, key teaching.

So there'll be a range of different tasks.

So I won't be in this video as much, but you will be hearing my voice.

So in a moment, if I say Alakazam, boom I am gone, but let's get into our learning for today.

So let's start off.

Let's go.

Let's see how much we can remember from our learning on this unit on Islam and beliefs.

What Prophet was going to sacrifice his son? Is it A, Muhammad, B, Ibrahim, C, Musa or D, Isa? So you just have to write down the name of the Prophet for each answer.

So for each answer you should just write down the answer that you believe for it to be true.

Not option one, two, three, or four, but then add the name or the key teachings.

So for this one, what is it five seconds? And one, what is it? Remember it was it Ibrahim.

Can you remember the name of his son that he was going to sacrifice? I won't tell you right now because it may be another question in a moment.

Question two, what Prophet received a revelation of the Qur'an? Is it A, Muhammad? Is it B, Ibrahim? Is it C, Musa? Or is it option four D, Isa? Five seconds.

And you should've had A, Muhammad.

Remember Muhammad is the final Prophet for Muslims and he's received a revelation in 610, and it ends in 632.

Next question.

What year did Prophet Muhammad received the relation? Oh, if your attentive ears were listening , this one should be quite easy only going to give you three seconds.

Three, two, and one.

Yes, you should've had 610 C.

Let's see if you can remember where it was as well.

Next question, question four.

What does Tawhid mean? Is it A, the Prophets? B, the oneness and unity of Allah? C, the Torah? Or D, the oneness of the Prophets, five seconds.

And you should've had B, the oneness and unity of Allah.

Remember, it's a key and fundamental belief found within Islam.

And one of the six articles of faith.

Next question.

What does Injils mean? Is it The Scrolls, the Torah, The Gospels, or the Qur'an? Which one of the Holy Books is it ? Let's see if you can remember, five seconds.

And it should be The Gospels.

Remember who received these revelations? If you can do write it down.

Next question, question six.

How many Imams are there in the Shi'a tradition? Is it 12, 11, 10 or nine? And in a second you'll have five, four, three, two, one.

And the answer that you should've had was 12 Imams. Next question, question seven.

What does Imamate mean? Is it that there are 12 Imams? A term useful for Imams? Is the belief in charity or means the leadership and direct authority of the Imams? Five seconds.

And one you should've had the following.

It means leadership and direct authority of the Imam.

Next question, question eight.

Who is Angel Azrael? Is he the Angel of Death, the Angel of Mercy, the Angel of the Grave, or the Angel of Revelations? Five seconds, two, and one.

You should've had the Angel of Death.

Remember he takes the soul from each individual when they die, depending on if they were good the soul gets taken gently.

And if there were bad, it gets taken away in a very harsh way.

Question nine, who was given the Suhuf? Which Prophet was it? Was it Prophet Musa, Prophet Dawud, Prophet Ibrahim, or Prophet Muhammad ? Five seconds.

And remember it is Prophet Ibrahim, but Muslims believe that they are lost.

So they no longer exists in its original form.

Is now going to be true or false.

So let's get into some true or false questions.

Are you ready? True or false, Muslims believe in God? So for this, you can either just write T or F or true or false.

So five seconds once again, true or false.

And it is of course, it is true.

They believe in the oneness of God, Tawhid.

Allah, the name of God in Islam.

Question two, Allah has given humanity his revelation, true or false? And it is true.

Remember the five Holy Books, but four of them were distorted over time.

And the final revelation is that of the Qur'an.

Question three, Shirk is a form of worship, true or false? And it is false.

Remember it is the biggest sin in Islam it is associating or worshipping anything alongside Allah.

Question four, true or false.

There are 124,000 Prophets, true or false? And it is true, there are 124,000 Prophets but not all of them are named in the Qur'an.

Question five.

There are 124,000 Prophets mentioned in the Qur'an, Ooh, let's see if you're listening carefully.

And it is false.

Yes as I mentioned just before they are not all mentioned in the Qur'an.

Two Prophets received the revelation of the Qur'an, true or false? And it is false.

It was only one Prophet, Prophet Muhammad.

Remember.

Sunnah means the way the Prophet, true or false? And it is true.

A very important thing and from the term Sunnah we get the term Sunni.

Remember the biggest denomination of Muslims in the world that consists of 85%.

The Qur'an is the final revelation for all of humankind, true or false? And it is true.

Remember it's the final revelation for all of humankind.

So it's a guide for all of humankind, how to worship God, how to submit to God and to understand morality, what is right from wrong.

We can see Angels, true or false? And it is false.

We cannot see angels.

They're metaphysical beings made out of light and cannot be seen by humans.

Although in some cases we know Angel Jibril came to Prophet Muhammad and the Prophet was able to see him.

Next question, Angels have free will, true or false? And it is false.

Angels do not have free will according to Islam.

They submit to God and God alone, and they cannot make choices.

Now, what I'd like for you to do now is the following Alakazam here I am.

Tawhid is the belief in the Oneness of Allah.

The Prophet Isa is Prophet Jesus who received the Injils or Gospel.

Angel Jibril is an Archangel who gave apologies, who gave the Prophets revelations of Allah.

Imamate is the authority of Imams as found in the five rules of Muslim ideas in Shi'a tradition.

And Predestination is one of six articles of faith, which is the belief in the decree of Allah.

So if there's any corrections that you need to make, this is a great opportunity for you now to make the corrections.

This is a date only known to God.

So remember the Day of Judgement and the Day of Resurrection.

These are two events that have not occurred yet.

So everyone will have a body of resurrection.

And when that occurs, there can be the Judgement of all of humankind.

We'll be judged on our deeds.

So these are two key events that have not occurred yet in the Islamic tradition.

An Angel will blow a trumpet twice before the Day of Judgement , true or false? And it is true.

Remember the Angel will blow a trumpet twice.

The first time everything will cease to exist.

And the second time everything will resurrect before the final Judgement.

According to Muslims everyone will resurrect 'cause everyone will be judged by God.

And the one who wasn't righteous and did many bad deeds, and won't be going to Jannah Heaven.

They'll fall into the pits of Jahannam and the bridge will make them fall.

Remember, this is a key thing to do with predestination.

All actions occur because Allah wills is.

It's part of His divine decree.

It's predestined as well.

There are seven articles of faith, true or false? And it is false.

So for this task, I'd like for you to spend five minutes and I'll see you in five.

So explain why the Qur'an is different and more important than the previous revelations.

The Qur'an is the final, complete revelation of Allah unlike previous revelations that are, according to Muslims, distorted and corrupt.

Muslims believe that the Qur'an is the final and the divine word of Allah given to the Prophet Muhammad in 610 C.

It is seen as a miracle as it's revelation still exist in its original form today.

It is more important as it is the final revelation.

It is a guide for all of humanity.

It is different because no parts of it are missing or incomplete, even after 400 years.

Muslims believe that the Qur'an was revealed to the Prophet Muhammad, who is the final messenger and that from reading and reciting it, they'll be rewarded and they will benefit from the guidance that it gives them.

So your answers should have considered some of those key things that I've just read out to you in terms of it's history.

Why significant? That no parts are missing.

It's a final revelation and it's a final guidance for all of humankind.

So here is the feedback you should've had the following.

Allah said, "O fire, be coolness and safety upon Abraham." This links of prophet Ibrahim.

Remember the story, Prophet Ibrahim destroys all the idols except the biggest idol.

His society go out for a feast and they put him in a fire 'cause they really angry that he destroyed these false gods.

So when they put him in the fire, Allah saves him as a miracle from the fire, from that minute they accept Tawhid also known as monotheism and they accepT to worship God, Allah alone and they reject the idea of polytheism.

Number two.

"Recite in the name of your Lord, who created man from a clinging substance." Remember this is the first revelation that the prophet Muhammad received in 610 C.

So there's a first revelation of the many at Mount Hira.

Next verse " Say He is Allah the One, Allah the Eternal, the Absolute" So Surah 112 a very important Surah that is recited by many Muslims when they pray.

And this refers to the concept and the teaching of Tawhid.

Really identifies what Tawhid is.

Number four.

"Indeed, appointed over you are the keepers, noble and recording, they know whatever you do." So if this refers to the angels, so remember that two Angels Raqib and Atid that are recording every deed that we do.

The good deeds and the bad deeds that will be weighed on the scales on the Day of Judgement.

And number five.

"And to David, We gave the book Psalms." So this refers to Dawud he was one of the Prophets who received the previous full revelations.

But remember, over time that these revelations were distorted and corrupted and the final and complete revelation is that of the Qur'an.

So if there's anything that you need to correct, this is an ideal time for you to do so.

The divine decree of Allah also known as predestination.

You're probably thinking Mr.Latif you're ensuring that this question comes up a lot, because I just really want to make sure that you really understand the final article of faith that we looked at a couple of weeks ago.

The greatest reward in Jannah is seeing Allah, true or false? And it is true.

This is the biggest reward for humanity, for those that are pious, and those that believed.

Everything happens because Allah wills it, true or false? And it is true 'cause God is all powerful and God is the creator of all actions and God is the Knower.

There are eight Heavens, true or false? And it is false.

There are seven Heavens in Islamic tradition.

Qadr links to the nature of God, his attributes and characteristics, true or false? And it is true.
