Hello and welcome students once again, it's me, Mr. Latif.

And today in our learning, we will be focusing on deliberate practise.

So today's learning will focus on revisiting, revising, and reflecting on what we learned so far.

And the key parts of our learning will be a number of different, multiple choice questions to examine what you've learned and also to look at some key quotes and beliefs.

So as always, there's five things that you need, please ensure you have your exercise book or some lined paper, a black or blue pen, a different coloured pen for any corrections, those attentive ears, and that curious brain.

Now, once you have those five things, let's get into our learning for today.

So welcome to your learning or deliberate practise.

And just a reminder, once again, today, we're really going to be focusing on revisiting, revising, and reflecting what we've learned so far.

And also to look at some key quotes and being able to examine this these quotes and linking them to beliefs.

So there's five things that you need as always.

Please ensure that you have the following five things on you.

If not, this is a great opportunity for you to pause the video, to ensure that you have them.

And if you have them fantastic.

Let's go ahead.

So we're going to ask some quick fire questions and for each question, I will read out the question and also the options that you have.

So you're going to have four options for these, and then I'm going to give you about five seconds.

So for each of these questions, there's two things you can either do.

You can either pause the question before you answer it.

So if you would like to write down the question as well as the answer.

Or you can just write down the answer.

It's entirely up to you of what of the two options you want to do.

What I suggest, which is really important, I think is actually write down the question.

And the reason I say it is because when you come back to your revisiting of this learning, you're able to actually identify where the answer was to the question.

So question one, let's go.

How many pillars of faith are there? Is it one, two, five, or three? And for this question, as all of them, you have five seconds.

And two, one, the answer that you should have had is the following.

You should have had the five, there are five pillars in Islam.

Next question.

What pillar consists of fasting.

Is it the Shahada? Is it Salah? Is it Hajj? Or is it Sawm? Five seconds as always.

Two, and one.

And the answer that you should have had is Sawm.

So remember Muslims fast in the month of Ramadan 29 or 30 days, and it's abstaining from food and drink.

Next question, which term refers to associates in Allah beside partners or worship or something beside Allah? Is it Tawhid? Is it Shirk? Is it Dhikr? Or is it Haram? What of the four options you've got five seconds? And the answer they should have had is Shirk.

And remember Shirk is the associating God or worshipping something besides God, which is the biggest sin in Islam and it cannot be forgiven by Allah.

Next question.

Tawhid as a statement of faith can be found in which pillar? Is it the Hajj? Is it Sawm? Is it Salah? Or is it Shahadah? Four options, five seconds.

And the answer you should have had is the Shahadah.

So remember it is the testimony of faith.

It's a declaration, an excursion of birth and also the death rights of someone who wants to convert to Islam.

And also found in the Adhan.

Next question, which term is used to mean facing the direction of Makkah? Is it Fitna? Qibla? Salah? Or Duniya? Remember, this also refers to the Kaaba.

The direction of the Kaaba, the house of Allah.

You have five seconds.

And you answer that you should have had is the Qibla.

And remember Muslims no matter where there are in the world all face the same direction when they pray, regardless if you're in Chile, Pakistan, Uzbekistan, Ireland, Uganda, wherever they are, they all face the same place, which is the Qibla, which is the direction of the Kaaba in Makkah.

Next question.

What tradition of Muslims add Ali is the wali of God at the end of the Shahadah.

Is it the Hanbalis? Is it the Malikis? Is it this Shi'a? Or is it the Sufis? Five seconds as always.

And the answer that you should have had is the Shi'a.

The Shi'a tradition of Muslims add this statement to the Shahadah.

And refers also to their belief in the amendment, which is one of the five is a Dean.

Next question.

What does Salah mean? Does it to be awake, to love God, to obey God? What does it mean? Prayer or supplication? Five seconds is always, and the answer you should of had is prayer or supplication.

Remember it is a very important part of the five pillars and it is done five times a day.

Next question.

How many prays are there? This should be quite easy.

If you're listening carefully, is it five? Is it two? Is it one or is it three? And the answer you should have had is the five, the five obligor prayers performed by Muslims around the world.

Next question.

Zakah means the following.

Does it mean that, which you appreciate that, which purifies that, which you give or that, which you get.

five seconds as always.

And the answer you should have had is the following.

That which purifies; the purification of wealth.

And Muslims belief that wealth comes from God.

It's seen as a gift.

Next question, as a percentage.

Zakah is how much? is it, 2.

5%, 2.

2, 2.

3 or 5%, five seconds as always.

And the answer should have had is 2.

5%.

So only 2.

5% of their savings.

Next question.

How many Rakats are there in the Fajr prayer? Is it three? Is it two? Is it four or is it one? Five seconds once again.

And the answer that you should've had is two is if the shortest of the five daily prayers and it's done in early morning before the sun rises.

Next question, the Nisab is, your savings.

The maximum amount needed before giving Zakah, your earnings or the minimum amounts needed before Zakah? Five seconds as always.

And the answer you should have had is the following.

This is the minimum amounts needed before giving Zakah.

So remember we looked at the amounts, three ounces of gold.

What is the final action of the wudu? Is it the cleaning of the hands? Is it cleaning of the ears? Is it cleaning of the feet or is it none of the above? five seconds.

And the answer you should have had is the cleaning of the feets first, the right foot up to the ankle three times, and then the left foot.

Next question.

Sawm is practise in which month? is it Ramadan, Ashura, Al Hijjah, or Shawwal? Which of the four months, five seconds.

And the month he should've had is the ninth month, which is Ramadan the holiest month in Islamic calendar.

Because in this month, the Koran was revealed.

Next question.

How many Ids are there? Is there one, two, five or three? And the answer should have had is there are two Ids.

Next question.

How many days does Ramadan January last? Is it 15 to 20, 29 to 30, 32 to 33 or none of the above, five seconds.

And the answer you should have had is 29 to 30.

So within that period of time, Muslims fast daily.

So it's not that occurs in one big span daily for those 29 or 30 days.

Next question, where is the Kaaba? Is it Medinah? Is it Makkah? Is it Jerusalem or is it Baghdad? Out of the four, which is it? five seconds.

And the answer you should have had is the Holy city of Mecca, which is a very important place and a next to the life of prophet Abrahim.

Also about what prophet Muhammad, what is the name of the well in Makkah? Is it Zimzim? Is it Zoomzoom, is it's Zizi, or is it Zamzam? which of the four? five seconds.

And the answer you should have had is the Zamzam.

It is not the Zimzim, Zoomzoom, Zizi I've just made those up.

It's Zamzam well, so very important part of the story of Hajar and Ishmael, the mother of Ishmael and the wife of Ibrahim.

What is the adhan? Is it the testimony of faith? The name of the prophet of a prophet apologies, A special food or a call to prayer.

Five seconds as always, and the answer you should have had is, the call to prayer.

So you may remember from your previous lesson, when we looked at the call to prayer, the first person who did it was beloved our very loved companion of the prophet Muhammad.

Next question, which prophet built the Kaaba around 4,000 years ago, was it Isa, Mohammed, Ibrahim or Dawud, five seconds? And the answer should have had is a Ibrahim.

Now remember he was commanded by God and that story can be found in the Quran.

Next question, which pillar links to the rights of birth and death? Is it the Shahada, Salah, Sawm, or Zakah? Five seconds.

And the answer you should have had is the Shahada and remember it's whispered in the ears of a new newborn.

And this is the final thing that a Muslim should say, when they're coming close to death.

So what we're going to do now is look at some learning some key quotations, and these are some key quotations you have been learning in the last few lessons.

If you have been watching them with myself Mr. Latif.

So key quotations are very important.

Part of your learning.

We look at Ari and as I say, you can never go wrong with some scripture, cause a good Ari lesson looks at some scripture, which really tells us and identify some key beliefs.

What I like for you to do now is the following.

I'd actually like for you to pause in a moment after this instruction, I like for you to learn these quotations to your best ability.

So the best way you could do this is there's numerous ways.

It may be for you that actually just looking at the screen and learn of them is one way to do it but what I do and what I suggest is the following, You write them down or you cover them and you try to revisit it from your memory again and again and again.

So for this task, I'm actually only going to give you five minutes.

So I'm going to give you five minutes to try to learn these tasks.

And then it's going to be a bit of a task in a moment to see if you can remember each verse.

So could I please ask for you to pause the video once I disappear? Welcome back.

Now, what I'd like for you to do now is the following.

Now, as you can see, there are certain parts of the verses that you've been learning, where there are gaps and words missing.

So what I'd like for you to do now is to spend 10 minutes to work out and copy out the quotations, work out what gaps are missing and to use the word bank on the side.

So could I please ask for you to pause the video and now to spend 10 minutes.

How did you do hopefully for those 10 minutes, that curious brain and there's attentive ears, we're working super, super hard.

So the answer that you should have had, there is no God, but Allah and the prophet Muhammad is his final messenger.

So that should have been a first three for the first quotation, the second one.

But if they repent and establish the prayer and give Zakah then they are brothers in their religion, three more third quotation, indeed prayer has been decreed upon the believers, a decreed specified times three again, and final one.

O you who believe fasting has been, has been prescribed for you as it was prescribed for those before you, that you may develop God consciousness.

So four there.

So tally up your marks, see how you did.

And once you are ready to move on, now, I'd like for you to do the following once again, but as you can more gaps here for this time, I haven't given you any words in a word bank.

So I want you to cover up your notes that you have already try to do on the back of the piece of paper or a new piece of paper.

And let's see how much you can remember.

That's probably just a bit more tricky than the first one.

And these are quotations that are important.

The first one tells us by the Shahada, one of the five pillars of Islam, the second tells us about Zakah.

And it also talks about prayer.

And the third one talks about Salah, which is prayer.

And the fourth one talks about fasting.

So some key things that key beliefs in terms of the five pillars there, once again, now, can you see here, final task and a bit more challenging.

So hopefully you can absolutely ACE this.

Let's see how good there's attentive ears and our curious brain was.

So for this task and to give you a bit more time, I'm going to give you 12 minutes.

So now what we're going to do is to look at the meaning of each quotation.

So these were the quotations that we learned about, and now we're going to be looking at identifying what each of these quotations mean.

And what does it tell us about beliefs? So for the first one, so for this first one, I'd like for you to do the following, I like for you to complete the explanation below you have the quotation of the verse, and then you have three sentences.

So once I've disappeared, I'd like to give you five minutes for this task.

I'd like for you to consider the following, this quotation links to Tawid as, it shows that, and it is something, the pillar of something.

So could I ask you to spend five minutes and to pause a video, then when I comeback on learning together.

So you should have had the following explanation, this quotation links to Tawid as it is a declaration of faith that Muslims believe in and worship only one God Allah.

It also shows the oneness of God and also an important of the Prophet Mohammed, as the final messenger, it says the first of the five pillars of Islam known as the Shahada.

So there's anything, any corrections that you need to make, please ensure that you pause the video now to make those corrections if not, let's continue on to the next quotation.

So here once again, here's a quotation three tasks for you to do in terms of explaining the quotation and five minutes as always.

Zakah involves given 2.

5% of your savings.

If the Nisab amount is met, this tells Muslims that giving Zakah shows their unity and care towards their fellow humans and Zakah also helps support ensures that the poor and needy are looked after.

So one of the important five pillars there and hopefully you got that term as well, the Nisab amount.

So does any corrections that you need to make as always is a great opportunity for you to pause, If not, let's continue.
