Hi everyone.
And welcome back to another RHE lesson with me, Miss Plummer.
The title of today's lesson is belonging.
Let's get started.
In this lesson, you will need your scrapbook or some paper, a pencil and some coloured pencils if you have them.
Pause the video now to go and get those things.
As this is the last lesson in our unit, we're going to look at the scrapbooks that you might've made and have a look at the memories that we've created together.
Then you're going to think about team identity, what it means to be part of a team.
After that, we are going to think about team spirit, so, how we can celebrate your team.
And finally, you're going to create your own team flag.
For each lesson in this unit, I've asked you to think about the scrapbook a book where you can put your special memories.
At the end of every lesson, we've put our work inside our scrapbook.
If you've made one, I'd like to go and get it now and have a look and think about all the special things about you, your team, or what it means to be part of a team.
Pause the video now.
As you know, every team is different.
They might have a different name, a different badge, maybe a different football kit.
Think about football teams every team wears a different colour.
Now think about your team.
What is your team identity? How are you different? Let's think about your experiences in your team.
In the grid below, there are lots of things that might happen to you, or one of your friends.
Let's take a closer look.
In the green boxes, these are things that aren't very nice, that might've happened.
You might have been left out.
You might have to be shouted at by your friend, or you might have been blamed by somebody else.
They're not great.
Are they? So they're only worth one point.
Now, let's look at the pink boxes.
These are worth four points.
Listen to others.
That's a good thing.
You might have been praised by somebody else.
That's nice if that happens and worked together, that's really important, isn't it? So what you're going to do now is look through the grid and add up how many points you can get for your experiences in your team.
To help celebrate your team, we're going to create a flag together, to represent your team and your team identity.
First of all, you're going to need to draw the flag shape.
Just like I've done.
Pause the video if you need some time to do that.
Perfect.
Now, we need to make your flag all about your team.
So think about your team, if it's a football team, you might draw a football.
If it's a swimming team, you might draw a person swimming in the water.
Think about your team and how you can represent your team on your flag.
Pause the video to do that.
Well done, and now is the fun part.
We can decorate it.
Think about your team colours.
Do you wear a kit? Do you wear red and white? How are you going to decorate your flag? Pause the video and decorate it now.
They are fantastic.
Well done.
Your task for today is to create a flag for your team, showing everybody your team identity, first of all, you're going to think about your team, describe it, think about it, the colours that you have in your team.
Then you can list the qualities.
You have fun, You learn new skills, you make new friends, then you can decorate your flag by making it fun.
You can add photographs, drawings, anything you like.
