This unit introduces pupils to the third person singular preterite of -ar, -er, and -ir verbs. Pupils contrast these forms with their present tense counterparts.  Key sounds revisited are z, que, qui. Pupils contrast z with ce and ci.

Order the words to say: 'she suffered an accident and he offered help'.

'Voy a tomar el {{}} tren.' Choose the correct missing word.

Order the words to say: 'she says that the book is better than the film'.

Order the words to say: 'I have enough money, but I need more time'.
