Me and and Bear love to sing and move our bodies and to tell lots of stories.

In this unit, we have been looking at persuasive advert.

Can you remember why we need to learn about persuasive adverts? That right Bear.

It's to tell somebody what we want them to do and to give them all the good things, all the positive reasons why they need to do it.

Hmm.

I wonder, can anyone remember what our topic was? That's right, Bear.

We want them to buy our honey.

Fantastic, well done.

Right Bear, let's have a look at what we're going to be doing today.

We're going to start off with our spellings, focusing on our tricky words.

We're then going to have a go at doing some role play, which I am really excited about.

And then to finish off, we're going to create our poster based on our role play task.

So today you're going to need a piece of paper, a pencil and your magnificent brains.

So pause it now, go and get your resources and press play when you're ready to go.

What's that Bear? You want to start off with a song before we go into our work today? Okay.

Let's start off with your favourite one from one of the previous lessons in this unit and it's when we pretended to be a bee.

So I'm going to sit you there, Bear while we start.

Going to start off with our spellings, but before we do our activity, I want us to recap the tricky words we have been focusing on this unit.

Now, can you remember why we say they are tricky words? It's because we can't sound them out, we've just got to know them.

How many of them could you remember, or did you need less little of help? Don't worry if you need some help because we're going to continue to look at these tricky words throughout this whole unit.

On the screen I now have four of our tricky words.

I'm going to say the tricky word, and I would like you to point at the screen at the tricky word I am saying, and we will check it together.

So the first one that I would like you to point to is "ask" "ask", can you find "ask"? Super, it's the one that starts with the A, "ask".

Next one I'd like you to find is "I".

"I".

Can you find "I"? Good, it's the letter on at the top.

It's "I, I, I." Now, can you point the word "Was, was." Listen to the sound at the beginning.

"Was." Can you find "Was." Super, it's at the bottom.

Well done.

And the last one I'd like to find is "of, of." Listen to the sound that it starts with and see if you can find it on the slide, "of, of." Well done, it's the one that begins with O.

It's "of", super.

What I'd now like you to do is pause the screen and have a go at putting one of these words into your own sentence.

Keep the words on the screen so you know how to spell them and then once you've done that press play to carry on.

We're going to start off by recapping out persuasive advert.

I have got my persuasive map in front of me to help me remember the different points.

So if you want to go and grab yours from the previous lesson you can do.

And then we're going to go into role into Dr.

Sweet and try and sell our honey.

So are you ready? Hello everyone, my name is Dr.

Sweet and I am a honey seller.

Every Friday I sell my jars of honey down at the farmer's market.

And this is what I say to get people, to buy my honey, Roll up, roll up.

Listen everybody, come and buy my honey.

It's really sweet and runny, put it in your tummy.

This is absolutely the best honey in town and let me explain why you should all buy it.

First, it's delicious.

My honey comes from bees next to a field of roses.

My honey tastes of roses.

It's delicious.

Second, it's famous.

Show it to your friends and they will be impressed that you have such amazing honey.

They will respect you for buying my honey.

Third, it's great value.

You can now buy one jar for £5 or three for £10.

Hurry now, before I run out of honey and you have to buy cheap, boring honey from the supermarket.

Buy now, before it's too late.

Buy now, you will feel great.

Buy now, don't dither and wait.

We're now going to start our task.

So the role play task is I'm going to give you 30 seconds to try and sell the honey.

So you need to think all the positive things that are in our persuasive adverts.

You need to remind ourselves of all the adjectives we use to describe our honey but when we're doing our power of three description and put them all together to try and convince somebody to buy your honey.

But you've only got 30 seconds to do it.

So you've got to tell them what it is, and you I need to tell them why it's the best thing they could do.

I'm going to have a go first.

I'll show you what you need to do and then I'd like you to pause the video and you have a go at home.

Right Bear, I need your help.

I need to convince you to buy my honey but I've only got 30 seconds to do it.

So you need to make sure you're listening to all the amazing things that I'm going to tell you about my honey, okay.

We'll sit you here.

Are we ready? You need to buy my honey because it's not like any boring supermarket honey.

My honey is delicious.

It's made from bees that live next to a field of roses, so my honey tastes like roses.

My honey is famous and all your friends will want to try some.

So rather than buying one jar for £5 you can buy three jars for £10.

So make sure you buy my honey.

But remember you've only got 30 seconds to try and get all of the positive things in.

Did you enjoy getting to the role of Dr.

Sweet and trying to convince your Bear to buy your honey? We're now going to use our role play to create a poster, explaining to somebody why they need to buy your honey.

Now, we don't want to make our poster full of lots of information, so we're just going to make it short and snappy.

But these are the three things you might want to include in your poster.

You might want to put a title.

You might want to have a picture and you might want to challenge yourself by having a go, putting our power of three description in there.

So remember, it's our adjective, adjective and word.

Word, word and word.

That power of three.

I created a poster of my own, advertising the honey.

So I have my title in here.

I've got my picture of my honey.

Now, instead of doing a power of three, I have put the adjectives around the side of my honey, so I've got sticky, yummy, runny and delicious.

But then I put a short sentence at the bottom to remind them that they need to buy it today.

Buy now before it's too late, cause I want the reader when they see my posts to think, "I need to go and buy that honey straight away." So I've put buy now, before it's too late, so they come and buy the honey straight away.

So I want you to have a go now at creating your own posters.

Like I said before, your title, picture, and then you can decide whether you want to put power three at the bottom.

So you might want to say it's delicious, sticky and runny.

Or, you can put your adjectives around the outside and you can put a short, snappy sentence at the bottom.

So pause the video now and have a go creating your poster to advertise our honey.

My favourite part is the way I have done the title with our fancy writings.

I think it makes the title stand out so that people can see what it is all about.

It makes the honey stand out.

Bear likes how we put the adjectives around the outside and used the lines coming out them to really make them stand out.

So when the readers look here, they can say all the things that make our honey amazing.
