    In this lesson, we will learn about the media. We will compare news to other types of information, and investigate the reasons that contribute to an issue or event being seen as newsworthy.

    In this lesson, we will learn about the rules that the media is required to follow, and what can happen if they do not. We will also consider what 'good journalism' looks like and why it is important.

    In this lesson, we will explore the idea of 'fake news' and why we need to understand it as misinformation, disinformation and malinformation. We consider the impact of sharing information that is false, misleading or harmful, and what steps we can take to verify the information we consume.
