    In this lesson, we will learn why Guy Fawkes wanted to blow up the houses of Parliament. You will hear and map the story of the Gunpowder Plot. We will learn about when and why the conspirators attempted to kill King James I and what happened to Guy Fawkes afterwards.

    In this lesson, we will learn who Guy Fawkes was and why he was important in the conspiracy to blow up the houses of Parliament. You will learn the meaning of the word 'conspiracy' and you'll find out about some of the other conspirators. You'll also find out whether the plan was successful and what happened to Guy Fawkes afterwards.
