Keywords
Plan - a framework that writers create before they write a section or whole text
Notes - written out of full sentences
Information - facts learned about something or someone
Describe - to provide additional information about a thing
Common misconception
Children may find it difficult to write concise notes that also contain appropriate detail and description.
Developing precise adjectives for their writing is important but the main focus should be on recording precise and accurate information. You may wish to provide them with a structured planning frame.
