Diagonal line - a line that slants or leans
Common misconception
The capital letter 'K' may look like a lowercase 'k' (without the loop).
Emphasise where the diagonal lines need to go to and model using the capital 'K' in words, such as 'Kevin' or 'Kick the ball!'.
Make sure you take your pencil off the page as you form the second and third lines in each of these letters.
