Common misconception

Pupils may find it challenging to differentiate the use of 'euphoric' and 'cheerful' in sentences.

'Euphoric' means extreme happiness. Share examples with pupils of when you may feel 'euphoric' compared to when you may feel 'cheerful'.

When completing the CfUs in LC1, pupils can share imaginary scenarios. They do not have to always give real-life, personal experiences.
