- The fourth join goes from the x-height line up towards the ascender line.
- The letters l and h reach up to the ascender line. The letter t reaches between the x-height line and the ascender line.
- You do not lift your pencil when joining until the letter string is complete.
- The cross for the letter t is added once the letter string is complete.

Common misconception
