Common misconception
When taking notes, the children may feel pressure to write at speed, creating mistakes with their letter formation and therefore the legibility of the notes.
Get the children to keep reading their notes back. Remind them that if they can't read the notes then they need to slow down and find a balance between speed, accuracy and legibility.
