- E-mail addresses and postal addresses require the use of print letters or capital letters to ensure legibility.
- Block capitals refer to the writing style where each letter is written as a capital letter and formed separately.
- Letter formation and letter spacing should be accurate when writing in print to ensure legibility.

Common misconception
Sometimes children can revert back to cursive when comparing print and block capitals.
Remind the children that when writing in print, you lift your pencil after forming each letter. Emphasise this in your modelling to remind the children.
