  • Disagree - to have a different opinion, belief or viewpoint from someone else regarding a particular topic, issue or statement

  • Conflict - a disagreement between people

Common misconception

Pupils may see conversations as only a way to share their interests with others.

Remind them that conversations are about 'receiving' as well as 'transmitting' and that listening is a big part of what makes good conversation.

You may want to change the scenarios in the lesson to fit with problems within your class.
