Common misconception

Children may think that money brings happiness.

Explain that this is true - but only up to a point. Other considerations are really important too e.g. family and friends, doing something worthwhile, how equitable the society where you live is.

A good starting point would be to ask the children what job they would like to have. Why would they like to do that job? What do they think is important when choosing a job? There are no right and worng answers here and it's important that all children show respect for the ideas of others.
