Common misconception
'faire' always means to do/make.
'faire' has multiple meanings, to do/make is the most common but it can also mean go, have and other verbal phrases.
Don't hesitate to (over)exaggerate your mouth movements when pronouncing French sounds, especially the difference between [u] and [ou], to emphasise how clearly they're articulated.
