Key learning points
- Vocabulary should be practised little and often if you want to remember it.
- 'Aux' means 'to the' for masculine and feminine plural nouns, 'au' means the same for singular masculine nouns.
- 'Aux' sounds like 'au' unless it is followed by a vowel or an 'h', when the 'x' would be pronounced like 'z' in English.
- We can ask intonation questions with questions words like 'où ?' in French, they go after the verb in the sentence.
