Key learning points
- 'Je sors', 'tu sors' and 'il, elle sort' are singular forms of the -ir verb 'sortir'.

- The preposition 'de' can mean both 'of' and 'from' in French.
- When asking a closed inversion question using 'il/elle', pronounce the 't' (sort-elle ce soir ?).
- If the verb ends in a vowel, add a 't' before 'il/elle' (a-t-elle un chien ?).
Keywords
Venir - -ir verb meaning 'to come, coming'
Sortir - -ir verb meaning 'to go out, going out'

Common misconception
Nationalities use capital letters as in English: I am French.
In French, nationalities do not use capital letters: je suis français.
Research other nationalities of 'la francophonie' with your class. How do you say these countries and nationalities in French?
