Infer - To infer means to come to a conclusion using reasoning and evidence.
Climate - Climate is an average of weather conditions (e.g. rain, sun, wind) in a place taken over a long period of time (usually 30 years or more).
Temperature - Temperature is the degree of hotness or coldness of a place.
Climate zones - Climate zones are areas that have similar weather conditions and climate, e.g. the tropics.
Common misconception
Not fully appreciating the huge size and diversity of Asia and the variations in climate and climate zones.
Use a globe/world map to highlight the size of the continent and the wide range of latitudes it covers.
