Broadleaf tree - A broadleaf tree has flat leaves and produces seeds inside of fruits
Biodiversity - Biodiversity means all the living things in an ecosystem or area
Common misconception
All broadleaf trees shed their leaves (are deciduous).
Some broadleaf trees are evergreen like the native holly tree. Broadleaf just means the trees have broad, flat leaves.
