- There are high levels of inequality in Mumbai.
- It is estimated that around 1.2 million people earn less than 20 rupees a day.
- Mumbai's transport system is incredibly busy and overcrowded.
- Some people live in informal settlements, however these are some of the happiest settlements in India.

Inequality is just about the difference in how much money people have.
There are many different inequalities between people’s lives such as access to education and health care, quality of housing, job opportunities and how people are treated.
