Key learning points
- A strong verb has a vowel change in the verb stem of the 2nd and 3rd person singular forms.
- Modal verbs (e.g., 'können') are used with an infinitive, which is placed at the end of the sentence.
- 'Jed-' means 'every'. Use the same ending as the definite article if the noun is the subject: ‘jeder', 'jede', 'jedes’.
- When a masculine noun is the object in the sentence, use 'jeden'. The feminine and neuter forms remain unchanged.
- Dictogloss tasks help you practise language through summarising and reproducing language you have read or heard.
