Key learning points
- Final [d] (a [d] at the end of a word) sounds the same as [t].
- Plurals indicate more than one of something and this is reflected in the form of the article, noun or verb.
- Use adverbs to describe where, how or when something happens. In word order 2, the adverb comes first in the sentence.
- In German, verbs change their endings to match who or what they refer to.
- Subject pronouns (e.g., 'he', 'er') replace nouns. They match the noun they replace in gender and number.
