Common misconception
Pupils may believe that Elizabeth was only queen of England.
Reinforce that she was queen of four nations - the United Kingdom.
Encourage pupils to make their own coat of arms and to think of their own symbols to adorn this with. Pupils could also recreate the important objects using junk modelling and re-enact the coronation.
