Lesson details

Key learning points

  1. When considering how much to spend on an ad campaign, you need to determine its worth
  2. Google analytics can help with analysing the impact of an ad campaign

Keywords

  • Profit - Profit is a business’ financial gain; the difference between the revenue and the cost.

Common misconception

Reducing the cost to increase sales is always the best option.

Although this may seem a good idea, increasing the number of units sold means increasing the amount made and therefore the cost to the business. Therefore the situation needs to be carefully considered.
