Common misconception

There may be occasions when pupils cannot find the tool they are looking for.

Ask them to click 'more' in the toolbar, scroll down and then click 'more' again.

Keywords

  • Object - The object is the starting figure, before a transformation has been applied.

  • Image - The image is the resulting figure, after a transformation has been applied.

  • Vector - A vector can be used to describe a translation.

Pupils will need access to a web browser during the tasks and paper to record their responses to the questions. Print will also need access to the presentation so they can click on the hyperlinks, or will need the hyperlinks sending to them.
