Key learning points

  1. After fleeing Egypt, Moses was told by God to return and lead the exodus.
  2. This command came through a revelation where God spoke to him through a burning bush.
  3. Muslims believe Moses (Musa) was the only prophet to speak directly with Allah whilst on earth and not in heaven.
  4. Moses is also significant for receiving the Ten Commandments and showing dedication to God's will.
  5. Although the specifics of the stories differ, Moses is important in Judaism, Christianity and Islam.
