Key learning points

  1. Muslims believe that there will be a day of judgement when Allah will decide how people spend their afterlife.
  2. Most Muslims believe this will be a physical and spiritual resurrection. This is supported by Surah 17.
  3. The Angel Israfil will sound a trumpet before this day, and all will be resurrected to face judgement.
  4. Beliefs about the afterlife are know as 'akhirah' and the day of resurrection as 'mi'ad' within key beliefs.
