Common misconception
Children may think that an animal’s offspring is always a smaller version of the parent.
Include examples of animals whose offspring do not resemble them e.g. caterpillar/butterfly, swan/cygnet, tadpoles/frogs etc.

Offspring - You can refer to a person's child or to an animal's young as their offspring.
Adult - The adult is a mature form of a plant or animal.
Grow - To grow is to get bigger in size. All living things grow for part of their lives.
