- Changes in spring can be described using observation skills.
Keywords
Season - Weather is what the conditions are like in a particular place at a particular time. For example, rain, wind or sun.
Spring - Spring is the season that comes after winter and before summer.
Observe - To observe is to look very closely and use other senses too.
Describe - To say or write what someone or something is like.
Change - If something changes it does not stay the same.
Common misconception
Pupils may associate different seasons with activities rather than physical characteristics like the weather.
Explanation of changes in nature that occur during spring.
Create an interactive display by bringing in different tree buds, blossom and other seasonal items for pupils to touch, smell and observe. Task B is best completed as a walk. If this is not possible, then there are spring videos online that pupils can watch to observe signs of spring.
