Key learning points
- The verbs 'tener', 'estar', 'es' and 'hacer' are useful to ask and answer questions.
- To say ‘I do’ or ‘I make’ say hago. To say ‘you do’ or ‘make’ say haces. To say she/he/it ‘does’ or ‘makes’ say hace.
- Use information questions to ask more information than 'yes/no'.
Keywords
Hacer - irregular verb meaning ‘to do, to make’
Hago - 1st person singular of 'hacer', meaning 'I do, I make'
Information question - question starting with a wh- word that has more information in the answer than yes/no
Common misconception
'Cuánto' is used to ask about one thing and 'cuántos' for several things.
'Cuánto' is used for uncountable nouns, not for one thing.
