Key learning points
- To count to 12 in Spanish.
- To use plurals with different genders.
- To include more words in 'mi vocabulario.'
Keywords
Vocabulario - Means vocabulary. When you say ‘mi vocabulario’, it is your own treasure trove of Spanish words.
Common misconception
The feminine plural always refers to girls/women only and the masculine plural, to boys/men only.
The masculine plural is used to refer to groups of women and men too.
After teaching this lesson, teachers may want to encourage pupils often to add words that are important to them to their vocabulario. The building up of a personal repertoire goes hand in hand with using reference resources to find out the meanings of unknown words.
