- The sound-symbol correspondence [ga] [go] [gu] can be practised by pronouncing words such as ganar, gol and preguntar.
- Es means 'it is' to describe someone or something.
- Son means 'they are' to describe two or more people or things.
- Hay un/una is to say 'there' is or there are' and we start the sentence with 'en'.
- Tiene means 'she, he, it has'.
