  2. ‘ir’ is an irregular verb in the imperfect tense.
  3. -íbamos, -ibais and -iban are the 1st, 2nd and 3rd person plural forms of ‘ir’ in the imperfect tense.
  4. Spanish adverbs ending in -mente (e.g. rápidamente) correspond to English adverbs ending in -ly (e.g. quickly).
