  2. Some verbs with ‘o’ in the stem (e.g. volver) change to ‘ue’ for persons 1, 2, 3 and 6.
  3. 'Ninguna' means 'no, not … any' (before a feminine singular noun).
  4. 'Ningún' means 'no, not … any' (before a masculine singular noun).

Common misconception

The masculine singular form of 'ninguna' is 'ninguno'.
