Common misconception
All the singular persons of -ar, -er, and -ir verbs in the preterite have an accent.
Only the 'I' and 'she, he, it' forms have an accent. For -ar verbs, the endings are -é and -ó; for -er and -ir verbs the endings are -í and -ió.
