Key learning points

  1. To make a noun plural, add -s if it ends in a vowel, and -es if it ends in a consonant.
  2. When we make a masculine noun plural, the indefinite article 'un' changes to 'unos'.
  3. When we make a feminine noun plural, the indefinite article 'una' changes to 'unas'.
  4. Regular -er/-ir verbs: 1st, 2nd, 3rd person singular PAST preterite (-í, iste & -ió).

Common misconception

Add an -s to any Spanish noun to make it plural.

Add an -s to Spanish nouns ending in a vowel to make them plural. Add -es to Spanish nouns ending in a consonant to make them plural.
