- Good food hygiene is essential to reduce the risk of food poisoning.
- The food skills to make yakisoba are measuring, peeling, slicing, mixing and using the hob (stir-frying).
- Vegetables need to be cut to the same size to ensure even cooking (via conduction in the frying pan or wok).
- Sensory evaluation provides feedback about the appearance, odour, taste and texture of a final dish.
