- Use 'je suis' for 'I am', 'tu es' for 'you are', 'il est' for 'he is' and 'elle est' for 'she is'.
- Use 'j'ai' for 'I have', 'tu as' for 'you have', 'il a' for 'he has' and 'elle a' for 'she has'.
- In French, adjectives normally come after the noun, e.g., 'un ordinateur cher'.
- An 'e' is added to many adjectives to form the feminine adjective, but not if the adjective already ends in -e.
- [ou] sounds like 'nous'.
