- Greenland is the largest non-continent island in the world, and nearly 80,000 people live there.
- Greenland is part of the Kingdom of Denmark, in Europe, but is geographically part of the North America continent.
- Because Greenlanders need to live by the coast, fishing is important. Fish and seal are the main catches.
- Houses are often made from stone, concrete and corrugated metal as few trees grow there.
