Key learning points

  1. [z] before [a] [o] [u] is the same sound as [c] before [e] and [i].
  2. In English, adjectives come before the noun. In Spanish, many adjectives follow the noun.
  3. Adjectives ending in -o change ending to -a to describe feminine nouns.

Common misconception

In Spanish, adjectives come before the noun just like in English.

In English, adjectives come before the noun. In Spanish, many adjectives follow the noun. Practice in first identifying the object and then what it is like helps to embed the Spanish noun-adjective pattern.
